Local

"Local" in the sense of this page roughly covers the federal riding of "Edmonton Manning." I often joke with people that if you draw a 50km radium on a map you can include all the place I've ever lived (and honestly according to google maps its more like 38km...). I've lived as far north as Bon Accord and as far south as MacEwan University but my life has always cycled around Edmonton Manning. My first jobs were here, my first apartment was here, my husband grew up here, we bought our first house (and our second) here and are raising two amazing children here.

When you think of Edmonton, you probably think of West Edmonton Mall, Whyte Ave, or the fact that we have the largest urban greenspace in all of  North America - you probably don't think about Northeast Edmonton. But if you aren't spending time here in North East Edmonton you are missing out!

So that brings us to the purpose of this section. Highlighting the the things that impact us and make us. This includes highlighting local news stories, community events, locations, and the people that make Edmonton Manning home!
